Spring Break '11 - Part 2

Well as I posted below, Monday was filled with fun times with friends! Tuesday was spent getting Brenley's 15 month check up, lunch with Daddy and visiting Nanny! (Bren's stats - 21lbs 6 oz and 30 inches long - she has slowed down in her weight gain but dr is not worried -- she is really active!) :) Wednesday was spent at home and running errands! Thursday was a LONG day -- Bobby's Uncle passed away last weekend and so Thursday was the funeral in Killeen, TX (near Austin). So Thursday morning we loaded up and made the 3 hour drive to Killeen for the burial and then another 1 1/2 to Buda, TX (South of Austin) for a family reception. Then around 7pm we got back on the road for the 3 hour trip back home! It was a sweet time with family (even meeting some for the first time for me and Brenley), but it was a LONG day of driving in the car. Brenley was beyond ready to be home. ;)

Bobby was off on Friday as well and we ALL slept until 10:30!!!! Yes, even Brenley! She was so worn out from the day before. So we enjoyed a late pancake breakfast and headed to the park to enjoy the weather! It was so fun to watch Brenley run around.

I think the swing made her sleepy ;)

And of course we had to end the park fun with some ice cream! ;)

Brenley crashed when we got home, I cleaned and did laundry and Bobby painted (he has been painting Brenley' playroom!). We finished off the day with a visit to Gigi's and Lito's (short for Jualito, which is short for Abuelito - which is Spanish for Grandfather...ha, got it??) :)

Well that pretty much sums up our Spring Break. This week we will be back in school (Tues and Thurs) and keeping Jae (MWF). The week will probably fly by!
