Happy 2009!

Can you believe it? It is 2009! It was almost 10 years ago that I graduated high school (yes, I will attend my reunion this year, yikes!), started at DBU and met my husband (although I did not really like him back in 1999, he had to wait until 2001...ha!)

Anyway, Bobby and I rang in the new year with our friends Tyler and Lauren Self and some others that were at their house. We had a good time eating, watching the guys shoot some fireworks (shhh, don't tell), and playing Power Uno (very fun!). We also got to meet some new people, which is always fun. We watched the ball drop, I got my kiss and we headed home around 1am.

We were both off on Thursday, Bobby took the day off on Friday and I was able to work from home, and of course Saturday and Sunday were work-free. So needless to say, I am dreading work tomorrow. This time off has been so nice!

As far as New Year's Resolutions go...we are starting our work out routine again and we are also going to be better with our money, so we made a budget (scary!) Wish us luck! :) We are excited about what the new year will bring us and we wish each of you a Happy and Safe 2009!

Happy Birthday Hubs!

Today was my husband's 28th birthday! We had a pretty laid back day, church and then lunch at one of Bobby's favorites...Chipotle! YUM! Friday we celebrated with some friends at Saltgrass and then back to our house, so the guys could play poker and the girls could talk. It was a fun time and today was nice just to relax at home. I am sad, I did not get pics of everyone at the dinner, nor did I get one of me and Bobby together. Well there is always next year. Happy Birthday babe!
