Pre-Christmas Activities

Part of the fun and joy of Christmas is all of the traditions and activities we do before the actual Christmas Day! This year was especially fun because Brenley is at the age where she enjoyed all the fun things we did.

Here are a few of the fun activites we enjoyed with friends and family this Christmas Season...

1. WENT TO SEE SANTA!

Her letter to Santa -- how precious is this!?!

Well...it didn't go so well, but we got a picture out of it. :)

2. SAW THE DBU PATRIETTES CHRISTMAS SHOW

Brenley loved watching them dance!

3. MADE CRAFTS, CRAFTS AND MORE CRAFTS!

4. WENT TO THE NORTH POLE EXPRESS IN GRAPEVINE

The mommas sipping on hot chocolate before the train ride

All the Grandmoms went too!!

Look at all these cute kiddos in their pjs ready to ride the train and see Santa!

 ALL ABOARD!!

Still a little unsure about Santa ;)

 With her buddy, Gage

5. HAD OUR 3rd ANNUAL KID CHRISTMAS PARTY

Brenley painting her train and then they decorated cookies!

All the kiddos

The "kids" draw names and exchange gifts!

6. PERFORMED IN HER SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCE

With her BFF Jae Beth

7. MADE CHRISTMAS COOKIES

8. (BOBBY AND I) WENT TO SEE THE TRANS SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA

It sure was a fun Christmas Season -- BUSY, but FUN and full of MEMORIES!!
(Next year we will be a family of FOUR making even more memories) :)

More Birthday Fun!

This girl had some more birthday fun on the day before her birthday and on her actual day! Yep, she celebrated for about a week. ;)

Opening some gifts from her Uncle Jo-Jo

 She loved her flashlight!

A Christmas hat made by her great Aunt :)

She was even celebrated at Dance class! :)

Mommy took her for a little manicure on the day before her birthday!

Here she is on her birthday -- early in the morning, hence the bed head and sour face. :)

Now she is more awake and excited about her Dora balloon!!

Later that night she spent some of her Birthday money on some movies she picked out!

We had a great time celebrating our big 3 year old!!! Time has flown and she keeps us on our toes, but we wouldnt trade her for anything!!!

Brenley's (& Jae Beth's) 3rd Birthday Party!

Today we celebrated Brenley's 3rd Birthday. Her real day of birth is on December 11th, but we celebrated a little early. And not only did we celebrate Brenley, but one of her little best friend's birthdays is 2 weeks after hers, so we joined our parties and celebrated them both!!

Jae Beth's mom and I went to DBU together and loved the fact that we were pregnant with our girls at the same time. Brenley and Jae Beth have been friends before they even knew they were friends. ;) Now they spend Mondays together (at my house) and are in the same class at school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So they really are more like sisters and fight and make up like them too. ;)

Could these girls be any cuter?!?

Can't believe our girl is about to be three!!

She loved everyone singing to her :)

Chocolate cupcake for the brunette, Yellow cupcake for the blonde ;)

She loved the bounce house!!

A few of her friends, Avery and Gage

 Her buddy, Joshua

Uh oh, Gage stole a kiss ;)

After the party some of our family went to eat lunch and open a few gifts. Here she is opening her Tea set from her cousins. She loves it!!

Oh and this girl got so excited that her Nanny gave her money! Haha!

The cousins!! The are all getting so big!

Then she got to open the gifts from her friends at home! So excited!!

Nail polish!!!

We had a great time celebrating and love that she had such a fun time!! 10 more days and she will officially be THREE!!!!

Coming May 2013...

Yep, Brenley is going to be a BIG SISTER in May!!!

She (WE) are so excited about the new addition we are being blessed with! We found out on September 16th -- on a Sunday morning, before church. Let's just say we had an extra reason to Praise God that morning! :) We told our families that week and a few close friends and slowly told a few people over the next few weeks.

This past Wednesday we had our first Sonogram and were able to listen to the heartbeat as well! The baby looked perfect and that strong heartbeat was going 176 bpm!! Brenley went with us to "see the baby on the TV", but was more interested in her cookies than the baby. :)

Here is our first picture of our little "peanut". This is at 9 1/2 weeks pregnant

And I LOVE this amazing 3D picture of the baby's little face. Cannot believe this can be seen with the baby only being an inch long.

I am finally beginning to feel better. The last 4-5 weeks have been rough, but hopefully that is behind me. Looking forward to growing and feeling some kicks! We are blessed!

Pumpkins!!!

A week or so ago we went with some friends to a Pumpkin Patch in Flowermound. It was a really pretty day -- warm in fact -- and was perfect for pumpkin playing with friends!

Tatum, Gentry and Brenley (in their matching shirts)

Brenley found some friends!

The kid crew

The Momma crew

They LOVED the bounce houses

Lunch time!!

So fun to run through pumpkins :)

Little pumpkins for my little girl

The Whole crew!

Definitely a repeat for next year! Bring on Fall!!

First day (of our third year) of Preschool!!

Today was our first day back at Preschool! This is our third year to attend and teach at Hillcrest Child Development Center! We love the program, the people and mission behind it. It is a Christ-centered environment, where she gets to learn fundamentals and learn about Jesus!

Brenley is in a class with some sweet teachers and some of her good friends! Today she went right in, went potty mulitiple times and no accidents, ate all of her lunch and took a nap. What more could a mom ask for!?

I am teaching the 3 year olds again and I have a great class! They all seem bright and excited to be there!

I am looking forward to a great year and seeing how much Brenley grows. Here are a few pics from this morning!
