IT'S A BOY!!

Well it is still sinking in, but in May we will be welcoming a BOY to our little family!! Since I was completely convinced (and Bobby too) that this baby was a girl, I was a little shocked when we found out otherwise. But I am excited (and nervous) about having a son and learning all things boy!

Even before we found out we were pregnant I had decided that I wanted to have a Gender party with our next baby. I was seeing these all over and with other friends and it just seemed like a fun way to find out. So, last Wednesday we had our sonogram, had the nurse put the picture and results in an envelope, gave the envelope to Melissa's mom (Cynthia) and went home to wait for most of the day! Later that evening all of our family gathered at my parent's house for pizza and the BIG REVEAL!

PINK TEAM! (all the people who thought it was a girl)

BLUE TEAM! (aka Winners!)

1, 2, 3....

IT'S A BOY!!!! (I LOVE Bobby's face and arms in this picture -- he is getting a son!)

Brenley just liked the balloons. :)

Thanks for our first BOY outfit, Mom!

Thanks to Cynthia for wrapping the box, getting the balloons, making cookies and keeping the secret all day!!! You made it so fun for us!!

Christmas Eve and Day 2012

What a fun Christmas Eve and Christmas Day we had this year!! Brenley was really into and and was excited about what Santa was going to bring her. ;)

We spent Christmas Eve with Bobby's family! Always a good time!

"Santa" worked hard on Brenley's Barbie jeep

We enjoyed starting some traditions this year -- like reading the birth of Jesus and her God Made Christmas book

SOO excited about bubbles - its the little things. :)

Oh and there was (and still is) a lot of joy over her scissors. This girl loves to cut up paper!

All the grand-kids (we are ready to add one more in May!)

Love her excitment!

She was sooo happy to get a scooter (like her friend Gage) :)

 Boys and their toys!

It snowed!!!

The Sotos decided to dress up this year for the Annual Clayton Christmas Talent Show! The Denim Divas

What a fun and busy two days!! Can't wait to do it again next year!!

Pre-Christmas Activities

Part of the fun and joy of Christmas is all of the traditions and activities we do before the actual Christmas Day! This year was especially fun because Brenley is at the age where she enjoyed all the fun things we did.

Here are a few of the fun activites we enjoyed with friends and family this Christmas Season...

1. WENT TO SEE SANTA!

Her letter to Santa -- how precious is this!?!

Well...it didn't go so well, but we got a picture out of it. :)

2. SAW THE DBU PATRIETTES CHRISTMAS SHOW

Brenley loved watching them dance!

3. MADE CRAFTS, CRAFTS AND MORE CRAFTS!

4. WENT TO THE NORTH POLE EXPRESS IN GRAPEVINE

Still a little unsure about Santa ;)
